Grand Haven Man Dies of Injuries, Police Seeking Tips

Holland, MI (WGHN) – A Grand Haven man who was injured when he was thrown from the hood of a vehicle on Monday has died.

The Holland Department of Public Safety have identified the man as Robert Baltazar Leon. Injuries occurred at an incident in the parking in a Wendy’s restaurant on 16th St. in Holland. Police say Leon and his wife had an argument, and the wife locked him out of the car. She began to exit the parking lot in a 2009 Dodge Charger when Leon jumped onto the hood of the vehicle.
As the driver exited the parking lot, Leon was thrown from the car and struck his head on the pavement.
