(Grand Haven Township, MI) – The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says a 38-year-old woman is hospitalized after hitting homes, mailboxes, and fire hydrants Wednesday. She hit three homes and destroyed at least four mailboxes in at least two areas of Grand Haven Township.
“I heard what sounded like a garbage truck sound, my dog started barking really loud. I ran to the front, I see this SUV doing donuts around our cul-de-sac,” said resident Emma Veldhuizen
Deputies say she has not yet been arrested or charged and that could come once she is out of the hospital. She also had two children with her in the SUV while the incident occurred.
