Grand Haven Women Crashes into Multiple Properties

Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – A 38-year-old Grand Haven woman is in custody after crashing into multiple Grand Haven homes on Wednesday afternoon. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says just after noon deputies were called to the area of 168th Avenue and Warner on the report of a hit-and-run involving a black SUV and a house. As they were responding to this incident Ottawa County Dispatch received more calls which stated the SUV crashed into other properties and even more houses.

Grand Haven Public Safety Officers and deputies found the suspect vehicle near the 150000 block of Briarwood. The woman had two children with her in the car and while apprehending her, two deputies received minor injuries. Neither the suspect nor the children in the car with her were hurt in the crashes.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office
