(Lansing, MI) – The Michigan Army National Guard says 120 members will be deploying to the nation’s southwest border with Mexico to help support U.S. Customs and Border Protection. It will be the sixth time the Michigan National Guard has been called to the border since 2020, with both Presidents Trump and Biden activating them for the duty.
They will be deployed for one year and be under the command of the U.S. Northern Command and Joint Task Force Norther.
