State House Adds Eight Session Days For Budget

(Lansing, MI) – The Michigan House of Representatives is adding eight session days to their calendar as a budget deal remains at risk before Tuesday’s deadline. The House has added tomorrow and Monday to the calendar along with Friday, October 3rd through Monday, October 6th and Friday, October 10th and Monday, October 11th.

Majority Floor Leader Bryan Posthumus says he does not think all of the days will be used, and also believes a budget deal will be reached before the deadline.
