(Grand Traverse County, MI) – The man accused of stabbing 11 people at a Walmart near Traverse City in late July has been found to be incompetent to stand trial. Bradford Gille will continue being treated for mental health issues and will be reevaluated later. Circuit Court Judge Michael Stepka made the ruling after hearing expert testimony on Friday.

Forensic psychologist Dr. Jay Witherell is treating Gille and said the man has a factual understanding of his charges and the court process, but has an illogical understanding of how it applies to him and adds he cannot rationally assist in his defense right now.
