(Dearborn, MI) – Gas prices in Michigan have shot up by 18 cents a gallon on average in the past week. Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now three-dollars-30 a gallon, one-penny more than last month and 19 cents less than last year. A 15-gallon fill up costs 49-dollars statewide, which is eight dollars less than it was at the highest price in 2024, set in July.
The most expensive gas is in Traverse City at three-dollars-34-cents, and Flint has the most affordable gasoline at three-dollars-23-cents.
