MSU Lays Off 19 Employees Due To USAID Elimination

(East Lansing, MI) – Michigan State University has laid off 19 employees due to the elimination by the federal government of USAID. That agency paid the contracts for the 19 workers.

MSU had over 30 employees working under grants from USAID and spokeswoman Amber McCann says they were able to “minimize the impact of the loss.”
