Most Millage Votes Approved In West Michigan

(Grand Rapids, MI) – Voters said yes to most of the millage proposals before them on the ballot yesterday in west Michigan. Kent County voters said no to a Grattan Township Farmland Preservation proposal, and voters in Muskegon Township turned down a new public safety millage while they approved a public safety millage renewal. The rest of the proposals passed.

Voters in Ferrysburg will decide between current mayor Richard Carlson and City Councilmember Jerry Sias in the November General Election in their race for mayor of Ferrysburg.
