(Lansing, MI) – A study released by Travel Michigan has found one in every 17 jobs in the state are touched in some way by the tourism industry. Officials say tourism steadily increased from 2023 to 2024 and resulted in 30-point-seven-billion-dollars being spent in Michigan last year, up from 29-point-three-billion in 2023. Visitors spent on average 84-point-two-million-dollars a day.
The state had 131-point-two-million visitors last year, up from 128-point-three-million in 2023.
