(Holland, MI) – The incident that took the life of a blind Hope College student is on video. According to the Holland Department of Public Safety, Jennifer Kasunick from Bay Village, Ohio, was seen approaching a railroad crossing Saturday evening. Ohio was walking with her service dog when she stopped just west of the tracks and was clipped by a passing train. Police say her death was accidental and no drugs or alcohol are believed to be factors.
Her service dog survived.
