(Marquette, MI) – Marquette has come in fifth on the list of the snowiest cities in the United States. The Weather Channel put together the list, looking at the 30-year average snowfall from hundreds of places in the country from 1991 to 2020. Valdez, Alaska is number one with 325-point-three inches of snow a year, followed by Sherman, New York; Truckee, California; and Crested Butte, Colorado.
Marquette averaged 196-point-eight inches of snow.
