(Los Angeles, CA) – The Emmy nominations for best drama series are out. The highly acclaimed FX freshman series “Shogun” received a nomination along with three other newcomers. Those include Amazon’s “Fallout” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” and Netflix’s “3 Body Problem.” Other nominees include past winner “The Crown” from Netflix, “Slow Horses”, “The Morning Show” and HBO’s “The Gilded Age.”
The Emmy nominations for best comedy series are out. FX’s “The Bear” will look to win the award for a second year in a row. Other previous nominees that are once again nominated this year are “Hacks,” “Abbott Elementary,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Only Murders in the Building.” First time nominees are “Reservation Dogs” and “Palm Royale.” “What We Do in the Shadows” was also nominated.
The Emmy nominations for best actor in a drama series are out. Hiroyuki Sanada from FX’s highly acclaimed “Shogun” received a nomination. Idris Elba was nomniated for his part in “Hijack”, while Donald Glover got a nomination for his role in Amazon’s “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Other nominees include Dominic West for “The Crown,” Walton Goggins for “Fallout” and Gary Oldman for “Slow Horses.”

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon were both nominated for “The Morning Show.” Other nominees include Anna Sawai from “Shogun,” Imelda Staunton from “The Crown,” Carrie Coon from “The Gilded Age,” and Maya Erskine from “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”
The Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on September 15th in Los Angeles.
