Judge Lifts Short-Term Park Township Rental Ban

(Grand Haven, MI) – Park Township’s partial ban on short-term rentals is on hold for now. Ottawa County Judge Jon Hulsing on Friday granted a preliminary injunction blocking the ban that went into effect October 1st. It prohibits short-term rentals in residential areas. A newly-founded nonprofit called Park Township Neighbors sued the township over the ban.

The judge said his ruling is the beginning, “not the end of the case.”
