(Lansing, MI) — A Democrat who lost the Michigan primary to Abdul El-Sayed is now criticizing the Senate candidate. Representative Haley Stevens said Wednesday that she plans to vote for El-Sayed, but called on him to denounce a campaign ad from an outside group that’s against U.S. military aid to Israel.
Her fiancee is voting for Rogers:
El-Sayed’s campaign says it’s not affiliated with the ad. He told reporters Wednesday that he’s “building a movement to take on the challenges that Donald Trump is facing.” He added that if folks have issues that are more important to them than that, “that’s fine.” He said “that’s their choice.”
