(Zeeland, MI) – A juvenile is recovering after being struck by a vehicle while riding their bike in Zeeland. Police say that around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning, a twelve-year-old boy on a bike was struck by a truck as the boy was crossing State Street near Roosevelt Avenue. The boy was taken to the hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The driver of the truck has since been identified and is now cooperating with investigators.
There’s been no word of any charges filed against the driver.
