(Zeeland Township, MI) – Ottawa County commissioners are considering whether to formally join the state review of the proposed Silver Maple Solar project. The development would cover nearly 19-hundred acres in Zeeland and Jamestown townships and needs approval from the Michigan Public Service Commission. Joining the case would give the county a formal role as regulators consider the proposal.
A decision is expected to be made at the October 27th meeting.
