(South Haven, MI) – Huge waves are expected on Lake Michigan today with a powerful fall system hitting the state. There won’t be any severe storms, but winds along the shore will gust to 40-miles-an-hour along the shore and 35-miles-an-hour inland in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.
The waves on Lake Michigan are expected to be as high as 16-feet in the open water and 12-feet on shore. Water spouts are also possible.
