Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – A utility repair project has prompted the closure of the 1200 block of Grant Street and a boil water notice for affected customers.
According to a press release, the utility was damaged by contractors, prompting crews to begin repairs. The road will remain closed to through traffic while the work is underway.
The damage also led officials to issue a boil water notice for the affected area. Individual notices will be provided to impacted customers.
Once repairs are complete, water testing will be conducted to confirm the water is safe for consumption. Residents will be notified when the boil water notice is lifted.
Officials are thanking residents for their patience and understanding as crews work to resolve the issue.
