(Lansing, MI) – Republican U.S. Senate nominee Mike Rogers has released a new campaign advertisement alleging Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed’s family has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. The ad was released Monday as The Arab American News publisher Osama Siblani says Rogers met with him and about 20 other Arab Americans in his 2024 U.S. Senate campaign, and then asked everyone to keep the meeting private. Siblani adds he kept that promise and says Rogers told him some Republicans would not vote for him if they knew he had that meeting.

He says he is not surprised by the new ad, calling Rogers “a very desperate candidate right now” and says he does not believe the claims in the ad.
