(Grand Rapids, MI) – Michiganders have some of the most federal student loan debt in the country. According to the latest data from the Department of Education, the average resident has more than 38-thousand-dollars in federal student loan debt. That’s the 20th highest in the country.
Across the state, federal student loan debt has surpassed 53-billion-dollars.
