(Detroit, MI) – Republican U.S. Senate nominee Mike Rogers skipped the scheduled debate on Fox 2 Detroit last night, citing moderator bias by news anchor Roop Raj. Rogers says “Raj has made his position clear, from praising Abdul as ‘brilliant.’ to being celebrated by Hasan Piker as ‘my GOAT,’ and bragging about his political stunts.” Democratic nominee Dr. Abdul El-Sayed did appear and was interviewed by Raj for an hour. El-Sayed did not specify the taxes that would be needed to pay for his Medicare for All idea and was challenged on his lack of experience, the tone of the campaign, Piker, Israel, and socialism.
Piker is a left wing influencer who said in 2019 that the U.S. “deserved” to have been attacked on September 11th, 2001.
