(Cleveland, OH) – Today is National Grandparents Day. One neurologist is highlighting a study that shows hanging out with the grandkids is great for brain health. Dr. Dylan Wint with the Cleveland Clinic says grandparents who care for their grandchildren including cooking for them, playing with them and driving them around had better cognitive outcomes over time compared to others who don’t care for grandkids.
This is from a study involving three thousand grandparents over an eight-year period.
