(Atlanta, GA) – A new report says Americans are tired and some more than others. A report from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics says about 71-percent of adults in the U.S. say they experienced fatigue on multiple days over the past three months. Women and younger adults are more likely to report frequent fatigue, meaning most days or every day. The lead author of the report said fatigue is one of the most frequently reported health concerns in primary care visits in the U.S.
The researchers said fatigue isn’t ordinary sleepiness, it’s physical or mental exhaustion that does not improve with added sleep orb rest.
