(Lansing, MI) – A poll from EPIC-MRA finds 62-percent of Michigan voters are opposed to data center developments in the state. Fifty-percent strongly oppose the data centers and 73-percent oppose federal tax incentives for them. EPIC-MRA president Bernie Porn says the 73-percent opposition to the federal tax breaks is “a flashing red sign to policymakers.”

Conversely, President Trump wrote on Truth Social that communities that don’t want data centers will “end up being backwards and poor.”
