Wright Twp., MI (WGHN) -A Belmont man has died after a crash in Wright Township Monday afternoon.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says the 66-year-old was driving a pickup north on 8th Avenue near Garfield Street when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died.
No passengers were in the truck. Deputies say the driver was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation.
