(Egelston Township, MI) – A 44-year-old Muskegon woman has died after being injured in a crash last night in Egelston Township. The Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Maple Island Road and Evanston Avenue when the woman failed to stop at a stop sign on Evanston. Her vehicle was hit by another that was on Maple Island Road and had the right-of-way.
The two people in that vehicle are hospitalized, but are expected to recover.
