Most Of Nation To See A Warmer-Than-Average Fall

(Washington, DC) – Most of the United States is expected to see warmer-than-average weather over the next three months even as summer comes to an end. NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center’s forecast shows all but a few states leaning toward hotter-than-normal temperatures this fall. The Pacific Northwest is most likely to see above-average temperatures.

States in the Midwest have closer to equal chances of seeing a warm, cool or average autumn.
