Midwest Miniatures Museum Announces Departure of Executive Director Dr. Chris Green

Grand Haven, Mi (WGHN) – GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — The Midwest Miniatures Museum has announced today that their Executive Director, Dr. Chris Green will depart the organization, with a last day at the museum of Saturday, August 22, 2026.

During Dr. Green’s tenure, MMM undertook a significant exhibits expansion, advanced strategic planning for the museum’s future, and grew its programming and community
partnerships.

“I am incredibly proud of the experience our team has provided to visitors during my time here,” said Dr. Green. “Together we’ve broadened so many minds to see the artistry,
engineering, and educational aspects of miniatures.”

Dr. Green is leaving MMM to join the Michigan History Center this fall as Statewide Programs Manager, a role that aligns closely with his dissertation research on communities’
relationships to the past. The Board of Directors is evaluating the museum’s leadership needs and will determine next steps in the coming weeks.
MMM thanks Dr. Green for his dedicated service and wishes for his continued success.
