(Allegan County, MI) – Drivers will have a headache along westbound Interstate 196 in Allegan County for the next week. The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office says a large sinkhole opened near the 45-mile-marker east of 60th Street late last night between Holland and Fillmore. Westbound I-196 is closed for the repairs at M-40 for the next week.
The detour will take drivers to southbound US-31 and back to westbound I-196.
