(Lansing, MI) – Michigan health officials say residents can return to normal guidance for eating lettuce and salad greens as a major Cyclospora outbreak winds down. More than 12-thousand cases were reported statewide, but new cases and related emergency room visits are now declining.
The state has lifted its earlier recommendation to avoid bagged salad mixes, while continuing to monitor for any new cases.
