(Lansing, MI) – Two people have died after contracting cyclosporiasis in Michigan. State health officials said both people had “significant underlying health conditions that may have been impacted by cyclosporiasis and dehydration.” An outbreak of the illness in Michigan and nine other states has been linked to lettuce from Taylor Farms served at Taco Bell. Michigan has reported more than eleven-thousand cases of the illness.
Cases have been reported in 45 states.
