(Undated) – As Canadian wildfire smoke brings unhealthy breathing conditions to West Michigan today, the EPA is offering tips on how you remain safe while behind the wheel. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is recommending that drivers keep their windows rolled up and turn air conditioning to recirculate mode.
That will allow for cleaner and filtered air inside a vehicle to be recirculated, lessening the amount of smoke particles entering the vehicle. Also, ensure cabin air filters are clean.
