Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The Charles A Conklin American Legion Post 28 remains closed after a pipe burst Thursday morning on the second floor causing extensive damage.
The water damage affected the second floor meeting hall, bathrooms, hallway, and offices. The water damage extends down through the kitchen and main dining hall, as well as the basement.
As a result, we are temporarily closed while cleanup continues, repairs are made, and safety inspections are completed. The legion appreciates your patience during this time and will provide updates. Servpro is working diligently to restore the damage as quickly as possible.
Due to the flooding at the Post, there is a change of venue for the Auxiliary meeting on Tuesday, June 23 at 6:30 p.m. They will meet at the Ferrysburg City Hall at 17520 Ridge Ave…same day, same time. Use the side door entrance; a member will direct you to the room.
