(New Brunswick, NJ) – Weight loss GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy are being linked to a decrease in violent behavior. A new study out of Rutgers University found that people taking GLP-1 medication were less prone to impulsive behavior and violence.
One factor could be the reduction in alcohol consumption seen among GLP-1 users.
