Georgetown Twp., MI (WGHN) – Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office was on the scene of a car vs. motorcycle crash. The crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. Thursday morning at the intersection of Baldwin and Main Street in George Township.
Investigation on the scene found that the crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. at the intersection of Baldwin and Main streets. Investigators said a Toyota Sequoia driven by a 60-year-old Jenison man crossed the center line while traveling west and collided with an eastbound Triumph motorcycle.
The motorcyclist who was wearing a helmet was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV driver was not injured.
The intersection remained closed for nearly six hours while deputies investigated the crash and crews cleared the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
