(Lansing, MI) – A new poll from Mitchell Research and Communications says the Republican race for governor is a statistical dead heat between Congressman John James with 28-percent support and former Attorney General Mike Cox with 27-percent. Businessman Perry Johnson is third with 23-percent, and Senate Minority Leader Aric Nesbitt is far behind with just four-percent support.
Johnson’s own poll from Strategic National has him at 26-point-five-percent, ahead of James with 23-point-eight-percent, Cox with 12-point-four-percent, and Nesbitt with five-point-nine-percent.
