Cleveland Clinic Emphasizing Importance Of Sleep

(Cleveland OH) – The Cleveland Clinic is highlighting the importance of sleep and why getting enough of it is key for brain health. Sleep specialist Nancy Foldvary says poor sleep can leave you feeling irritable and make it harder to think clearly or focus on daily tasks. However, she says if it becomes a habit it could lead to more serious health issues like Alzheimer’s disease. Foldvary says to help get good sleep, avoid the phone before bed, wake up the same time each morning.

Foldvary says an underlying sleep disorder could be contributing to sleep issues and it’s important to get diagnosed and have a treatment plan.
