Chobani Breaks Ground On $567-Million Expansion In Muskegon County

(Muskegon County, MI) – Chobani is expanding its La Colombe facility in Muskegon County. Governor Gretchen Whitmer joined company officials for a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday in Norton Shores as the company will grow from 40-thousand-square-feet to around 200-thousand-square-feet. Chobani currently has 312 employees earning an average of 29-dollars-50-cents an hour.

The company will increase its purchase of milk from dairy farmers in Michigan from 30-million-pounds annually to 615-million-pounds.
