(Grand Rapids, MI) – The S-Curve in Grand Rapids will undergo a lighting upgrade starting next week. The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing nine-million-dollars to replace the lighting on US-131 between Wealthy Street and Pearl Street to enhance safety through improved visibility. The project will involve installing new lights, poles, and foundations, with partial closures and traffic shifts expected until completion in mid-November.
