(Allendale, MI) – The Grand Valley State University orchestra has recorded the theme for the new Acrisure Amphitheater ahead of its official opening Friday night. The song was composed by Hugo Bombardier in California and recorded by the 65-member orchestra. The Acrisure Amphitheater will open May 15th with a concert by Motown legend Lionel Richie, with the Verve Pipe’s lead singer Brian VanderArk and Detroit duo War and Treaty as the opening acts.
The GVSU orchestra recorded the theme over two days in January.
