(Undated) – Sunday is Mother’s Day and Michiganders may spend a record amount on the special women in their life. The National Retail Federation says consumers are expected to spend a record 38-billion this year, which breaks down to about 284-dollars per-person.

Flowers remain the most popular gift, followed by food, wine or beverages, jewelry, special outings, and experiences such as concert tickets or spa days.
