Ottawa County, MI (WGHN) – It’s construction season and the Ottawa County Road Commission will be working on Lincoln St., 60th Ave. to 68th Ave., Allendale Twp. for water main installation work. This closure is estimated to last through June 1, 2026, however all work is weather dependent and completion times are subject to change.
The detour route is 68th Ave. to Lake Michigan Dr. to 60th Ave.
Also on 88th Ave., M-45 to Buchanan St., Allendale Twp. crews will be replacing a culvert. This closure is estimated to last 2 days, however all work is weather dependent and completion times are subject to change.
There will be no posted detour route.
Beginning Monday, May 4, 2026, the Ottawa County Road Commission will switch to our summer hours of operation.
Their office will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 7:00 – 11:00 a.m.
They will switch back to normal hours of operation, Monday, September 28, 2026, at 7:30 a.m.
