Michigan Expands Flood Emergency

(Lansing, MI) – Michigan’s governor is expanding a state of emergency after heavy rain and flooding damaged parts of the state. The declaration now includes Tuscola County and the Village of Holly in Oakland County. Officials say flooding damaged roads, bridges, wastewater systems, and about 230 homes in Holly.

he emergency declaration allows the state to use available resources to help local response and recovery efforts.
