Holland Twp., MI (WGHN) – Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle Thursday evening in Holland Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash was reported around 7:53 p.m. on Douglas Avenue near Aniline Avenue. Deputies responded along with the Holland Township Fire Department and AMR Paramedics. Authorities say a Yamaha motorcycle traveling westbound struck a black Ford Edge after the SUV pulled out from a private driveway into its path.

The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man from Zeeland, was wearing a helmet and suffered minor injuries. He was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital by AMR. The driver of the Ford Edge, a 23-year-old woman from Holland, also sustained minor injuries and later sought treatment at a hospital on her own.

After the initial impact, the Ford Edge continued into the eastbound lanes, where it collided with an oncoming Jaguar. The Jaguar driver was not injured.

Douglas Avenue was closed for a time as crews investigated and cleared the crash
