New Poll Shows Dead Heat In Democratic U.S. Senate Primary

(Lansing, MI) – A new poll finds former Detroit public health official Abdul El-Sayed and state Senator Mallory McMorrow in a statistical dead heat in the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate. El-Sayed has 24-percent support, McMorrow has 23-point-six-percent support, and Congresswoman Hailey Stevens is well behind in third with 13-point-four-percent support. The poll shows 36-percent of voters have not made up their mind.

The U.S. Senate seat currently held by Democrat Gary Peters is up for grabs this year with Peters’ retirement.
