(Lansing, MI) – Flooding in Michigan has resulted in at least 14 bridges being closed. The Michigan Department of Transportation says the bridges are in Arenac, Grand Traverse, Manistee, Menominee, Midland, Muskegon, Oakland, and Osceola counties. Two of the 14 bridges have failed, and MDOT says both of those were closed before they failed.
They are the Beitner Road bridge over the Boardman River in Grand Traverse County and Johnson Road over Big Bear Creek in Manistee County.
