(Newaygo County, MI) – People living along the Muskegon River from Croton to Bridgeton are being ordered to evacuate. Newaygo County Emergency Services issued the directions to evacuate Thursday morning. This comes as the National Weather Service forecasted record-setting levels for the river.
Public safety officials say they may not be able to respond to calls for help in flooded regions- which is why it’s important to leave the area now.
