(Holland, MI) – The former CEO and longtime owner of Hudsonville Ice Cream has died at 70-years-old. Denny Ellens was on the board of directors for the company from 2003 until he died and retired as CEO in 2023.
His family says his death was “unexpected” and says he “deeply believed in building a business grounded in integrity, quality, and service to others and he took great pride in the West Michigan community we call home.”
