Park Twp., MI (WGHN) – The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a body was discovered along the Lake Michigan shoreline Friday afternoon.
Deputies said a person walking on the beach in Park Township contacted authorities just before 2:30 p.m. after finding a body that had washed up on shore.
Officials have not released additional details about the deceased but confirmed there is no threat to the public.
The investigation remains ongoing.
